Happy Birthday Mummy!

Yay it's Mummy's birthday today and I was nice to her by NOT studying and therefore NOT neglecting her (:

We went to eat dimsum at Paramount Hotel which was like zzzz cuz I don't really like dimsum and we actually really wanted buffet but never mind. Came home and rot rot rotted. Then at about 7plus I went to start cooking dinner which is pasta and I haven't cooked in SUPER LONG so Mummy should be/is damn honoured haha. At the same time, me and Meredith were super sneaky and she was baking as well. We made pandan cupcakes with gula melaka topping!! Inspired by this post, but we made do with whatever we had haha. You know how sneaky we were???? Meredith was sitting on the floor at the laundry area beside the kitchen beating the sugar and butter together HAHAHAHA. While I made alot of noise cutting up vegetables and cooking. Then when the oven beeped for the cupcakes I shouted "AH MY PORK!!!" And Mummy was like "you defrost so long???" See la we should be spies. Mummy's mouth was like :O when we came out of the kitchen singing with the cupcakes which turned out really well yay.

So. I haven't done any work today even though we have a test on Tuesday hahah. But it's a test of physical ability not mental what right hehe. Yesterday after Lit, studied with Mel, Chenyin and Nicolette and we also camwhored in the toilet before that. Mel and Chenyin left and me and Nicolette went to eat lunch and went to Bedok KFC to continue studying. Felt like I did alot but no I didn't really. Hahahaha. Mummy picked us up and dropped Nicorex off. Got ready then left for Jeremy's houseeeee.

Happy Belated Birthday Jeremy Lucas Tan!!!! Wow it's been 4 years since I've known him haha. Had a good time eating chocolate fondue (omfg damn good.) and playing Taylor Swift on Band Hero. Rachel came and she damn pig she sit there and let me and Kelly feed her the fondue can >:[ Hahahaha. Anyway, Calvin's dad came and gave me a lift home then I showered and fell asleep OKAY. My life not very exciting leh.

Anyway, this week is HOLY WEEK (termed by Chenyin). We are going to be non-bitchy..... Ok try. It's 930 now. Meredith just packed the leftover cupcakes for us to bring to school tomorrow. We have 4 each so... Only special people get them haha. Not Mel cuz she posted my damn fugly picture on FB therefore no boy will ever want me, I will die alone, and Mummy will have no grandkids. Ok byebye.

Half of my heart's got a grip on the situation

Ok so I really haven't been blogging at all cuz I don't want to switch on the computer and get super distracted and all. Not that I've been particularly productive and not distracted by other things even without the computer la but still. Anyway, so prelims are in 2 weeks like woaaaaaaah scary haha. Should really start feeling stressed and motivated and focused and determined now but....... I'm not so ha.

Aiyah, keep rethinking my future plans haha. And I hate my own double standards for getting irritated and not liking people yet being tolerant and acting like I do. Can't. Wait. For. Everything. To. End. Starting to get scared for Econs and super super super freaked out for Lit. I wanna get away from everything for a while but then again I have nothing to be complaining about because I haven't allowed myself to feel stressed harhar.

Haha I really barely blogged about my birthday properly but anyway it's been like 2 weeks since my birthday alr and I still got presents last week and today (: Hehehehe. Even though prelims are nearing and so are A's but IT'S A LOOOOOONG 5 DAY WEEKEND and I'm super happy about it even though 1) we got 1000000 things to do 2) Calvin's birthday coming (this one I got love-hate feelings with haha) but like woohoo it's a break! School has been hectic but the little things like free periods spent bitching/doing nonsense like uh chasing Jo out of the library (literally chasing like running after her), imitating people, working out our prom plans etc are making it better (: And like even REALLY DAMN RIDICULOUS things like Hanle, Mel, Jo, Chenyin, Lynn, Rachel all supporting me and telling me to "STEP UP MY GAME!!" hahahhaha wah shucks I really like my class girls (:

Plus I'm like really settling into life at the moment I think haha. I said today that I think during our Farewell in school I'll probably cry cuz like woah this school has had 4 years of memories it's no joke leh. Today's National Day celebrations were abit of a letdown cuz we didn't sing the songs we were so hyped up about like Where I Belong and Five Stars Arising grrr. But getting Jo and Hanle on stage was damn funny haha. Calvin gave me my present and I couldn't open it until I reached home so like took a bus home and I opened my present AND GUESS WHAT IT WAS.

MY CUPCAKE SHOESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hehehehe :DDDDDDDDDD They're Custom Keds and I think Calvin indulges me too much but I'm not complaining haha. ;) Yah so anyway I got my cupcake shoes and I was really happy and went to sleep and woke up and went to swim then Mummy came home with polkadot cupcake liners!!!! Which reminded me that I'm actually damn bloody lucky cuz like I usually get the things that I want, somehowwww. I'm very happy and blessed to have friends and family who will look out for me and spoil me and get me things that they know will make me happy (especially since I tell EVERYBODY what I like HAHA *shameless*) But yeah!!!!! (: I mean like people all know I like cupcakes and polkadots and stuff and Ling got me a cupcake shirt and Meredith baked me my giant cupcake and I got 2 cupcake necklaces and cupcake earrings and 2 cupcake aprons and nail polish!!!! I usually don't like to read people's blogs who blog about how lucky they are and stuff like that (I sound like the Grinch HAHA) but now I know why? It's good to always RECOGNISE how lucky we are and write it out to remind yourself!!!!

So, thank you to Calvin, Chenyin, Yiguan, Vivian, Gracie, Jo, Lynn, Rachel, Mel + the 04/09 darling girls who are always there, Mummy, Meredith, Uncle, Daddy, Ling, for giving in to me and supporting me and indulging me and being patient with me, understanding me, loving me. Happy (belated) Birthday to me!

Hahahaha ok I shall finally blog like 1 entire week after my birthday aiyaaaahhhh. Blogging from my PHONE ok cuz the computer is currently off limits.

Anyway, celebrated my birthday last Saturday! It was super fun we had 2 steamboat pots and like being surrounded by everybody that I care for and all my good friends... The feeling very shiok! (: Loved all the nonsense that we said, teasing Charis about her not getting off the chair AT ALL and just nonstop eating, Yiguan's never empty bowl, Chenyin being my jiejie, Rachel falling asleep on my sofa -.- hahaha.

First guests to arrive (late I might add, I was telling Mummy that maybe all my friends ditched me haha) were Calvin Charis Nicolette Lynn Rachel! I was quickly chased into my room to hide while I dunno what they did outside. After that we had to wait for everyone to turn up before eating so that's Chenyin, Pig(hehehe Yiguan), Gracie, Jo, Vi, Limeng, Mel! Ling also came over as an unexpected surprise cuz she didn't even know I was celebrating until that morning haha irritating cousin. ANyway so we ate alot laughed alot, then THE CAKESSSS CAME OUT!!

Hahahahaha because Yiguan+Grace decided to challenge my sister to making a giant cupcake cake right, I had many cakes that day! Meredith spent the past 3 nights baking the cakes and putting them tgt and trying to hide them from me. Seriously, there's still a postit on the freezer that says "DONT OPEN!" And Yiguan and Gracie came with this HUMONGOUS cake box and inside were cupcakes! heh. Very happy with my various cakes cuz they had everyone's thoughts inside (L)

Had to go to my room again and hide, then walked out being blindfolded by Chenyin who wrapped a shirt around my eyes and led me out haha. Switched off all the lights and sat down to watch the birthday video Calvin made for me. Cried while watching it cuz I saw so many people in it, wishes from Sarahbarah all the way in the UK, Vibz that day when he came to school (no wonder Calvin so nice follow me go find Vibz that day haha), and Chenyin who was the star and appeared 3 times, suffering my wrath cuz I got irritated at her. Aiyah I love you all so much thank you for everything. For the effort in making my day special, in trying to find cupcake-related things, nail polish, and for being such great people. To Calvin, thank you for your very very meaningful video, for making me cry after 2 years haha, and for being my "co-host" HAHAHA like helping pour the ribena and stuff.(:

I know I'm very blessed to have such great friends and a loving family like Mummy who spent that week preparing all the food for dinner and stuff. I'm going to stop here and blog about my actual birthday another day cuz my eyes hurt from staring at my small phone screen and I feel like I've typed alot but it might not be and I took like 20mins just to type this and it was NONSTOP typing ok. Uhhh aiyah doesn't matter. Meredith has been busy baking since yesterday while Grace/Yiguan are also busy planning so touched! Mr Seng called me up just now because I msged him to ask why my History marks on the portal so low compared to my JCT paper itself! Even if class participation pull me down cannot pull me down by so much what. He called me and told me to "calm down. you always very excited" HAHAHA cuz he wanted to tell me that my Int'l History paper wasn't counted CUZ I CAME LATE FOR IT but I already knew that! So it's ok, and I was calm when I found out lor! Based on the portal I didn't do so bad for JCTs la, kinda hit my target of not getting any Ds? OK actually History is a D but it's gonna be VR anyway haha. Based on my JCT aims written on a postit currently up on my wall, I only hit my aim for Econs haa SUCKS but it's ok, BCCCD is nothing to be disappointed in. Prelims next and I must get straight Bs and my A for Maths!!!!

Wanted to bitch about what happened during Lit tutorial on Tues when me and Jo wanted to strangle a certain Lit teacher who doesn't know how to say sorry. SAY SORRY WILL DIE AH? TEACHERS ALSO CAN BE WRONG(for half a year) RIGHT? But I'm not gonna elaborate CUZ I don't want to get angry over it again.

Btw I'm sooooo full now after drinking Yakult even though all I ate for dinner was mashed potatoes haha. Kinda sleepy even after sleeping my whole afternoon away since our dearest GP tutor decided not to turn up for lesson. AGAIN. 2 double periods in a row missed this week! HELLO! So JCTs are finally over like YAYYY even though that means there are now 19 weeks to A's boooo. I ended off my last JCT paper with a BANG! By going late for the paper HAHAHAH. Thought the paper started at 10am when it started at 8am. SO reached school at about 930 and was wondering WHY IS THE SCHOOL SO EMPTY WHERE ARE MY HISTORY FRIENDS????? Met Yiguan and Louise and I was like damn stressed alr and Louise checked her exam schedule and said "Um.. It says here 8-11. I never see wrong right??" So I looked at it and was about to cry like WTF MAG HOW STUPID CAN YOU GET then I called Mummy up and told her then called Mr Seng up who was surprisingly nice about it and laughed at me and just told me not to do so during A levels. Took my paper from 945-1245 instead? Hahahah I love myself leh I can't believe such a thing happened -.-

Anyway, went home and like rotted then showered and went to meet Calvin to watch ECLIPSE! Hahaha. Twilight movies are so not fantastic but we watch all of them anyway (: Met Yiguan the charsiewbao who said "Watch eclipse for what?? See me la I so nice to look at." NONSENSE Hahahahahaha. Calvin's dad came to pick us up and I went home to rot some more haha.

Friday was spent with Mummy we went around like Bukit Timah area and then went to Tiong Bahru and bought cloth cuz she's taking tailoring lessons + got herself a new sewing machine which is the most exciting thing in our house since the Kitchenaid haha. Bought fresh eggs like, not in a carton but you picked them out yourself from a whole lot of eggs and it was DAMN COOL cuz the eggs damn humongous and they were 10 for $1.70 WHICH IS CHEAP LOR. Each egg weighed about 70g (I weighed them at home HAHA) and you go supermarket buy eggs also at most 55g only??? Unless you buy those EXTRA LARGE ones which only come in cartons of 6 and cost 3bucks plus or something. I SOUND DAMN AUNTY hahahahahaha.^^ And the eggs were put in this paper bag which Mummy really liked cuz she said it's a very old fashioned paper bag that nobody uses anymore! Ok so that was the highlight of my Friday haha. OH wait, me and Mummy made chocolate eclairs at night!!! I piped out the choux pastry and put the chocolate on top ok! Picture looks terrible cuz it was taken on my phone but they tasted good!

Saturday, plans to go to Malaysia were ruined by the traffic jam towards the Causeway haiya. Rotted the day away (what's new right how else should I spend my short 4 days of freedom??) then went out to Macdonalds to watch GERMANY VS ARGENTINA which was a fucking awesome match and only reinforced my love for Germany because they are so awesome and they have damn nice black jerseys which they look super good in :D (Jo said I sound bimbotic because of that statement BUT IT'S TRUE WHAT) Went home at about 12plus and Calvin asked if I wanted to go and watch Spain vs Paraguay at Simpang. So touched by the fact that Uncle woke up at 230am just to fetch me there and then Mummy woke up at like almost 5am to tell Uncle to pick me up haha. The match was totally not worth it la damn crazy boring!!!!!! And Spain is GOING DOWN I tell you, later!! in 7 hours time when they meet GERMANY!!!!

Sunday I uhh baked Lemon cupcakes with lemon buttercream!!! Wanted to like draw a soccer ball design on top but I have no black icing andddddd me and Meredith started watching 败犬女王 and even though it isn't very nice or exciting, ETHAN RUAN DAMN CRAZY CUTE couldn't stop watching anyway! Hahaha. I want to live in a Taiwanese drama... I sense myself sinking back into that endless drama abyss like during TA1 Dec hols REMEMBER CHENYIN??

Monday, the OCIP GANG went out for dinner!!!!!!!! So exciting we haven't met up in 1000000 years!! Supposed to meet at 5 but ALL of us were late haha. So anyway, Limeng, me, Yiguan and Gracie went to Handburger to eat. It was good! Though I ate my burger SUPER messily and they all kept making fun of me but not my fault what my burger was bigger!!!!!!!!!!! Talked alot and bitched alot and Limeng damn blur he dunno anybody haha. He left first to go for tuition and 3 of us went to Cold Rock and sat there and "serious talked" some more. Missed talking to them like during our weekly OCIP meetings when everyone would be doing their work or discussing serious things while we'll just slack off and talk HAHA. But it was good bonding time! ^^ Took a train home with Yiguan whining about how she hates school and wants to drop out haha. CHARSIEWBAO IT IS 4 MORE MONTHS PLS LET'S GET THROUGH THIS FAST FAST.

School has started and it's back to waking up at 630am and going to school with half closed eyes sigh. Because we're an Arts class and sadly neglected by the damn education system, we're not going to get ANY papers back this week. While Science students have got at least 3 papers back already yay. I want my results back even if I've done badly!!!! Which is highly likely but still. Protected time for JC2s is gonna start and again, being the marginalised Arts students we are, there is only protected time for Econs, Maths and Chem. Today during History lecture when we were discussing trying to find a common timeslot for remedial lectures it was extremely exasperating ok. History and Geog students should unite and write to the school TO GIVE US SOME DAMN PROTECTED TIME. Just because we're a smaller cohort as compared to the "major" subjects like the Sciences doesn't make OUR A's any less important ok? In fact, give us some credit please, it takes alot more to get an A in the Arts subjects, so stop making our job any more difficult? I'll quit complaining because life is just like that lor, I chose Arts what and life is just unfair lor..... BUT STILL. OMG.

Because we haven't got any papers back and haven't really received homework (with the exception of Econs haha as usual) I'm self declaring this week to continue being like a "break" week. I come home everyday feeling free and happy with no obligations ahhaha which is why I'm now blogging and going to sleep in an hour, waking up in time to watch Germany trash Spain later at 2.30am ^^ Bet 2bucks with Ryan Lee that Germany will win, against the odds because some Parrot and Octopus have predicted that Spain is gonna win. I HAVE FAITH IN MY TEAM!!!!! OK bye (:
