Perth Pt 2

Day 6, Wednesday: First proper day in Margaret River, we drove out to Busselton where there were supermarkets (Favourite place in the world) and uhh I forgot what else we did. I think we stopped by Target, where we got another pair of shoes hehehehe and I bought dirt cheap coloured footless tights for..... 20 CENTS!!!! Hehehehahahahohohoho. Went back to Erravilla, watched White Chicks, Bridget Jones Diary: Edge of Reason, and The Devil Wears Prada.

Kangaroo carcass.

Fig tree!
Lemon tree! Did I mention that there are Granny Smith apple trees, grapefruit trees as well as pear trees all growing on the area?! But we went at the wrong time cuz all the fruits start coming out in summer.

Ling is apparently very hardworking and started studying her Bio. O.O

Day 7, Thursday: Had to wake up very very early to go... FISHING/CRABBING!!! Drove over to Busselton Jetty and omg it was so bloody cold my face was freezing I put my hood on and took Mummy's big brown hoodie as well. AHHHHH!!! Hahaha, we put out the crab nets and everything but we only caught one so Allan went over to the smaller jetty and caught more! Accompanied Laogu to catch fishes. We caught many many Yellow tail!! :D Then while trying to cut one of the smaller fishes to use as bait, he dropped his knife into the sea so we couldn't cut the fish!

Then some other group of people came to fish near us so we borrowed their scissors to cut the fishyyyy. Which died a very gruesome death haha. Anyway, in that same group of people there was a guy called Tyler/Taylor? And the wind blew his money into the sea. And his friend was laughing at him and he was like "I'm gonna jump down there and get it!", and he started taking off his shoes. And I seriously thought he was kidding because IT'S SO BLOODY COLD, then he like, took off his shirt and jeans and stripped to his Simpsons underwear. O.O Then he really jumped in to get his money!!! So we asked him to help us get the knife that was in the sea so he dived in to get it. Wow. SO BLOODY COLD OK!!! He dropped like, 50 bucks in the ocean but I wouldn't jump in and freeze myself for 50 bucks!! Fish it out la!!! Crazy hahaha. But they're probably used to the cold and everything.

I left the jetty earlier cuz I was so cold, while Ling and Meredith stayed behind. Altogether we caught 12 fishes and 10 crabs!!! Whooooo! Hahaha. I had Simmo's ice cream which is seriously the best. Caramel Malteser, mmmmm :D

Along the jetty, they had all these plagues to remember people who always fished there but died.

Krabby. (:
Here fishy fishy fishyyyyy!
First catch of the day!

That night we had a damn good dinner with the food that we caught, omg the crabmeat was soooooo sweet and yummy!! Allan, Anya, Calamity, Liam all joined us for our hugeeee dinner, and Anya brought pavlova for desser which was super goood!!

Then Liam whispered in my ear "After you're finished, come to the fireplace and the sofa would have changed place ok? What song do you want?"
Me: "Ok, you choose a song!"
Liam: (To Calamity) "Can you help me come out to move the things?"

After dinner I went out and he cleared the sofa and table to one side (I dunno how they did it because me and Ling moved the table back and it was so bloody heavy!), to create a dance floor haha. Then he put on some AC|DC song and started to attempt breakdancing for me! Hahaha so cute right!! Then everyone came out after dinner, Calamity and Allan started dancing as well damn funny la. Yiyi also joined in the fun, then I joined in for abit before I was super tired and sweaty haha. And it was our last night already, and Calamity and Liam still had school the next day so they went home ): Calamity came up to me and stretched her arms wide so I hugged her. AHH SO SAD OK!!! ): ):

That night, we wanted a movie marathon cuz I found a bunch of DVDs including Pleasantville, The Lakehouse, Bedazzled and You've Got Mail. In the end we only watched The Lakehouse and Keanu Reeves is soooo cute, plus he planted a tree for her! It was damn sweet ok! Slept early because we had to wake up early for our road trip back to Perth City the next morning.. ):

I think he learnt that pose from AC|DC.
The Cube and the Lawnmower behind.
Compactor!

Day 8, Friday: Happy Halloween!

Didn't really wanna wake up... But I did anyway haha. Drove back feeling very depressed, we stopped at Margaret River itself to take a look at the Fudge Factory which was a disappointment because like, I didn't like the fudge and we drove for half an hour -.- But I got another scoop of Simmo's ice cream hehehe, this time Mango Passionfruit sorbet YUMMM. Then went to some other place I forgot where for a toilet break. Then back to Perth City both cars met at Tuakim's house. Stayed there for dinner, then Aunty Vivien brought me, Ling and Meredith to rent DVDs!! We rented Pretty Little Devils, Penelope, and Prince and Me 2, then went to get some Baskin Robbins (: Decided to stay over at their house for a movie marathon that night hehehe. Went over to Aunty Linda's house first to dump stuff and shower, then went back to Tuakim's house for our movie marathon!!

O-M-G. Pretty Little Devils is the STUPIDEST SHOW ON EARTH. It was such a waste of my time!!! I wanted to die!!!! It had no storyline, and horrible acting courtesy of Haylie Duff, and omg it was just dumb ok and at times horny, but it was like, funny horny haha. Ugggghh. But, Penelope was soooo much better!! James McAvoy is like, woaaaah. Loved that movie!! Went to sleep after that.

Pretty blue bird.
Breakfast Anya cooked!
Anyaaa.
Fudge Factory!

Simmo's!
Nutley damn cute la.
See he's winking at me!
Day 9, Saturday: Aunty Vivien drove me, Yiyi, Meredith, Ling out to one of the nearby malls. Walked around but we didn't get anything grrrr. Though we ate damn good crepes. (: While we were sitting down, this 2 guys walked past us and one of them went "YO YO YO!" with his hand stretched out like expecting us to high five him or something wtf. HAHA. Went back to the house and started getting ready and whatnot for the 50th Anniversary dinner later at night.

BLOG ABOUT DINNER+PICTURES LATER. 转角遇到爱 is on!!! YAAAYYY damn cute la omg haha. 我可以陪你去看星星...

P.S. WOOHOO OBAMA!!!!!

Oh My Gun!

AHHH IT'S LIKE, 10.10 and I haven't done any Chinese revision after getting home from tuition. Laoshi will be so disappointed ): The exam's in 10 hours Mag! What's wrong with you! (I realise I have lots of these "pep talks" in my blog posts but they never seem to work, wonder why.) I told Laoshi about my dream to just marry a rich husband already, she laughed and said "OK, 我祝你能找到好老公." My tuition teacher rocks like that. (And I'm not just saying that because she gave me beehoon this morning cuz I hadn't eaten anything, and her mother in law made the agar agar that we always eat when we visit her during CNY. Yumzzzz.)

Anyway, my face smells good now because I'm using some new Biore foaming facial wash thing. And my hands smell good too cuz I was slathering on Biore moisturiser on my face as well, yaaaaay so nice smelling. Some random old man talked to me in the lift just now, I have a thing for attracting old people in lifts. O.O Calvin came over for abit just now to pass me my results slip and then kill time before he went to meet Louise. Results slip looks TERRIBLE!! My percentile for most subjects are below average so that sucks. At least there's always Lang Arts right at the top to make me happy, 100th percentile HA!!!!!! :D Mummy's not happy with my results, especially Maths. But it's over and everything, just work harder next yeaaaar!!

I hope Obama wins the elections.
No, I haven't been walking for 30mins everyday with Mummy.
Yes, I'm a fat and lazy blob who spent her day watching 微笑Pasta.
No, I don't need reminders that I have to get a decent grade for Chinese.
Yes, I do need a big kick in the butt to push me to start revising.
Yes, I like high and messy ponytails.
Yes, I will have Perth Pt. 2 hopefully up tomorrow.

I'M GOING BACK FOR BALLET THIS SATURDAY!! WOOHOO!!!
And I have no more motivation to dance for Grad night, damn!!!! No. 9... ):
And I have my KI interview tomorrow at 2. D: :/ :| ]: =* :S =#

Oh, and to prove how dry my skin is, I put on my moisturiser about 5 mins ago and it's all absorbed already. Ugggghhh. Talked to Aunty Vivien on Facebook just now, she was saying that Ling is very bored since she's stuck with only old people in the house haha. On a better note though, I think Godma's gonna bring back Broadway Pizza for me!! :D

LEAVE. THE. COMPUTER. ALONE. (Stop staring at you know, him.) Crave him crave him crave him. !!!

I hope no one sees this, but I love you

Contrary to popular belief, no I do not know what I want to do in life. Law? For this whole year I have worked towards it, hoping that it's the right choice since
1) I believe I'll be good at it
2) I will have lots of money to go towards my wide range of wants and
3) I am not a Science inclined person therefore there aren't many other well paid positions

Ugh, while talking to Lucas and Lincoln respectively(they both want to study/are studying law), they both asked me the same question "Why do you want to study Law/become a lawyer?" And I didn't know how to answer. Replying with "Oh, cuz I'll earn lots of money" makes me sound like a superficial person who has no idea why she's doing it and I realise I really don't have any real, sound, reason to become a lawyer. I mean, why the hell would you do something if you don't even know what your motivation behind it is? I know I really want to start a family, like SOON hahahaha and trying to become a top notch lawyer is soooo going to put a hamper to that. It's like, you have to work your ass off and work like, 16 hour days or something in order to be successful. And I'm not willing to give up my dream of having a kid when I'm like 25 because of it. Yes, I'm being oddly maternal-ish but I really want a kid what ):

SO I kinda have to rethink the whole lawyer thing. If I don't study law, and decide to study something else, anything else, I'll gladly go overseas to do it! Because NUS Law is well respected and I was actually considering studying here in SG instead. But then again, studying overseas is often overrated, as Random Boy Daniel has told me. Haha. UGGGHH suddenly 16 feels so old and 2 years feel so bloody short. Next year is going to be a waaaaay tough year.

Can I please just marry a very very rich man and become a housewife and just concentrate on taking care of my 3 kids- Leia, Mitchell and Cameron and baking stuff? And then have my husband supply me with my endless wants instead? OH and we must be totally in love forever because then I don't have to worry about my husband leaving me thus I have nothing because I would have no career. Please? ):

Oh, and I haven't touched any of the work that I'm supposed to do before 1030am tomorrow when I have to go for tuition. I don't wanna do my worrrrkkk ): Why are you so bloody undetermined, unlike her, Mag. Oh, and on another note, today in the lift, some random old lady started talking to me and she was asking me if I just moved in and stuff. THEN SHE ASKED ME THIS

"[你是]中国人ah?"

I'm like "NO?!??!!" In what way do I look like I'm from China!!! OK that's damn funny right and it's a sign that I will do well for my O levels, even though I've done miniscule. AND while out to lunch with Mummy today, we decided we will start sharing meals and walking for half an hour everyday. In a burst of inspiration, she bought 3 vcds to workout to at home, hoping that I will join her in her temporary burst of insanity and short lived motivation. HAHAHA. But I will try to walk everyday, and if we stay in E Park during the hols, I will swim swim swim my way to thinner legs. (: YAY.

This is the fourth time I'm editing this post, and I realised that the reason why I didn't want to leave Perth is because I come back to attachment/results slip/NYAA application form submission/tuition/O level exam/locker key(which I lost therefore I have to pay 5 bucks) submission/worrying over my subject combination/KI INTERVIEW WHICH IS YET TO BE SCHEDULED. UGH!!!!!! And all this, also ruined part of my holiday for me thanks.

Ahem, fifth edit, HAMILTON WON THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! :D :D :D

I don't want to be compared to you, but yet I'm the one who regularly compares myself with you.

Paris For President

[download]

OMG I LOVE PARIS HILTON! HAHAHA. Even though she sucks for flirting with Prince Wills and completely neglecting poor Benji, I can't get over the fact that she actually launched her own "Paris For President" campaign to get back at John McCain for using her image in his campaign without her permission! HAHAHA. What a completely smart move from her right?!?! I love her! I FREAKING want to be her! HAHAHA. And her video, HAS 3 HOT MEN! AS HER SECRET SERVICE AGENTS! I mean HELLO?!?!?! It's like, NIRVANA!

"Trading in the Cabinet for a walk in closet"
"Paris for President, look at Bush it can't be hard"
"Global warming is totally not hot"
"I'll make a department called fashion police"

And another one,

HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE HER?!?!

Perth Pt 1

OMG I SPENT LIKE, 2 HOURS SLOWLY SORTING THROUGH, RESIZING, SAVING, PICKING, CHOOSING, THEN UPLOADING THESE PICTURES OK. And they're not many because even though I took like 600plus pictures in Perth I'm not crazy to upload all. Hurrrr!!! And I have Chinese tuition homework to do in order to make Laoshi proud tomorrow so here's my Perth story.

So on Thursday night, we went to the airport and while checking in, the dude told us they were looking for volunteers to take the later flight on Friday morning instead, because the flight was overbooked. AND if we volunteered, we would get US400 in compensation FOR EACH PERSON!! Like wtf right, of course we said yes! I was thinking "Omg... Ferragamo shoes..." Then they told us they didn't need volunteers anymore but our seats would be separated and then they were trying to get our seats together so they gave us like, 75bucks worth of meal vouchers to eat in the airport while we waited to get our tickets. I was very very disappointed ): BUT I had good steak dinner courtesy of those meal vouchers hehehehe.

And then, we were up in the air after finally getting our tickets at about 845, when our flight was at 920? Wonderful. Raaaaaaan in to Departures and stuff, spoiling the soles of my flats on the way. Got on our flight, me and Meredith were seated together while Mummy was a few rows behind and it was the roughest take off I have ever experienced, UGH. And the entertainment system, along with all the light controls and whatnot were screwed up so I was bored throughout. AND, I was having the worst runny nose/flu/blocked nose whatever during the entire flight, AND I had no tissue. Luckily, I was seated next to a very nice lady who helped me ask for tissues from some dude across the aisle and she also helped me ask the air stewardess to get me tissues. Yay for nice random ladies! (:

Stopped in lovely Perth where the weather was freezing and Uncle Gerard came to pick us up and send us to where we would be staying for the next few days, City Stay Apartments. It wasn't very pretty or anything but it was sufficient, AND it was right opposite Harbourtown, an outlet mall. (: Slept at about 3am.

Day 1, Friday: Walked opposite to Harbourtown and it was soooo cold plus it was drizzling and the mall is kinda outdoors. The stuff there wasn't very cheap, but there was lots to see. AND THEN I SAW.. MY HURLEY HOODIE!!!!!!!!! Immediately grabbed it and paid hehehehehe. Omg so lovely Mummy thought I was mad. It was late night shopping that day, meaning the shops closed at about 9 instead of 4/5. Haha. Bought some food and went home.

Day 2, Saturday: Decided to go over to Hay Street instead where there was more to see and a supermarket and stuff. Asked the lady at the reception how we could get there and she told us we could walk, so we walked. Bad idea. Bought shoes from Target to replace my 2 dollar flats which sadly died in Changi Airport. I will miss you, green flats. ): Went to Woolworths which is lovely and got lots of supplies to stock up for the next few days. And carrying these like, dunno how many kg worth of stuff, we had to walk back. IT WAS HARDLY A SHORT WALK!!! The good news was that we now had a lot of food including cheap bacon, eggs, bread, mustard, ham, spaghetti sauce, beef etcetc. Good dinner that night (: Later on, at about midnight all, Uncle Gerard came over again to take us out for some late night supper! We went to Fast Eddie's and on the way there were all these people who were going clubbing and wearing the skimpiest outfits and IT WAS SO BLOODY COLD OK. I'm surprised they didn't freeze. I was cold, and I was in my hoodie and track pants! The atmosphere was so fun you see all these people dressed up to the nines in like their glam dresses and stuff. It's so different from Singapore! Reached home and because it was Daylight Savings, we ended up sleeping at like 5am. O.O

Day 3, Sunday: Went over to Hay Street again to buy the stuff we didn't get the day before due to us not being able to carry so much haha. HOWEVER, this time we were smarter and took the CAT which is a free bus that goes around Perth. I love it! Hahaha. It's like a land version of our MRT or something. And it's free, FREE! How often do you come across something that's free in our sunny island. So we managed to pick up more stuff and walk around more. It was fun, and we saw so many goths and whatnot.

Day 4, Monday: Lingling, Yiyi, Godma, and Ah Ma reached Perth! We arranged to meet in Hay Street and Ling and Yiyi came with Tua kim(Grand Aunt) and Aunty Linda. Yaaay (: Ling decided she hated me and didn't want to talk to me after she saw me in my Hurley but after that she was fine haha. Went for dimsum lunch, then went do Harbourtown to do some walking. Yiyi, Tua kim and Aunty Linda left first so we could all do some hurried shopping before dumping our stuff at home then rushing over to Tua kim's house for dinner. Aunty Vivien was there as well, we watched Foxtel after dinner. Foxtel is a wonderful wonderful invention with super alot of channels. :D Then Aunty Linda, Uncle Leo, and the 3 Ls- Lincoln, Lucas, Lewis came over. It was the first time we met our second cousins! They all talked then we each went our separate ways. Had to sleep early and start packing for our trip to Margaret River the next day!

My face is too round.
The Red Bull Air Race was on the next weekend, so there was the real airplane to advertise!
Hay Street
Birds.Walking for some dimsum! Thats Yiyi and Aunty Linda.
Art Exhibition, it was a series of pictures taken from an aerial view to warn people about the dangers of pollution and all.

Aunty Linda and Aunty Vivien!

Lewis with Uncle Leo

Nutley sleeping, so cute right?!?!
Day 5, Tuesday: ROAD TRIP TO MARGARET RIVER!! Damn excited please!! Hahaha, drove over to Tuakim's house first before we split into 2 cars to drive down. Lingling was with us in our caaar. We stopped for some lunch at some place, me and Mummy ran to Target and I got another pair of shoes hehehe then we ran to Coles and got stuff from the supermarket yay so fun. I bought loads of junk food hehehe.

Mummy damn act cute la.

Our GPS was named Sally and she was super helpful in helping us find our way to Margaret River. Except for the fact that she kept telling us to turn right when it was a straight road.
When we reached Erravilla, omg IT WAS SO PRETTY I COULD DIE!!! Me, Meredith and Ling were sharing a room and the only weird thing was that the bathrooms were completely not shielded. So you would have to shower in like, the open. So to shower you had to lock up all the bedroom doors and stuff and it was still weird. Hahaha. Met Allan, one of the caretakers, and his son Liam who's the cutest! Allan brought us to walk around the estate to find kangaroos haha. Except the kangaroos were too far away so I couldn't take pictures of them. Laugu(Grand Uncle) cooked dinner and it was a good sleep that night.

CHEEEEKENS!

OK there are other photos from Margaret River and everything but I don't want to upload them now, wait till... Tomorrow. Or after Wednesday's exam. I started doing up all my pictures at like, 4plus ok, it's now 7.32! I can be Xiaxue since she spends so much time on her blogposts too! Hurhur. AHHHH. I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back ):

We apologize for the delay

I'M BAAACK!!!!
:D
:D

Miss me, miss me???
Hehehehehe.

I actually wanted to do my Perth post ASAP but considering I have 600plusplus photos from the trip, AND I would have to go through all of them and then choose the ones I want to upload, then resize them, THEN blog about the 10 days..... Um, my eyes hurt now so I won't. Hee! I got lots to say though so stay tuned for the Perth trip post(s)!!!

Omg I miss Perth like siaaaaooo! SO, Calvin came to fetch me from the airport, yay! :D Thanks dearrrrrie. Took a train home first with him, then had to get the car keys and stuff from JieJieAmy, then walked back home. I miss the Perth weather so, so much. When you're there, you EXPECT the cold weather? Cuz everytime you step out you get blasted by cold wind or something. At night it was freezing and it was hard to go to sleep when your feet are frozen but I still much much prefer that, to our hot, humid, tropical Singapore weather. Gah! The humidity really makes a difference because in Perth, if the sun shines on you, its just like, heat. You can easily get shade! But here, you can hide from the sunlight but you will still feel the heat, AND YOUR SWEAT. Ewwwww. >:[

Aunty Linda, Uncle Leo, Lincoln, Lucas, and Lewis are all coming down to Singapore in January, I think they're gonna die from the weather and hide out in shopping malls the whole way. Hahaha! OK my eyes seriously hurt, Mummy made me arrange tuition with Laoshi as soon as I got back, and I need to start preparing for the exam on Wednesday. MAG, LAST STRETCH BEFORE YOU'RE FREE FROM CHINESE!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and sometime while I was in the car driving around Perth, there was this piece of news. Gary Rego, school captain of Corpus Christi (A Catholic school in Perth), insulted the Principal, Vice-Principal, and teachers of the school during a speech he was giving at his graduation. He was forced off the stage by security but I saw the video and he was still shouting stuff like "WE ARE THE FUTURE OF 2008!" to the Corpus Christi students. He sounded like he was part of some cult trying to get followers! You can watch the video here.

I think it's quite funny but stupid cuz he's like, 16 and you're given this honour to give a speech at your very own graduation. Why would you want to do a stupid thing like that? To go off with a bang? To finally express your views of the school you study in because you don't study in it anymore? There are way better outlets to express your views, and way better timings too. Tsk. Comments are divided on the issue, some think it's like "brave" of him I guess. I think it's foolishness. I have views against the school too, against certain teachers, and I'm sure there are Student Councillors and other people who feel the same way. And they're student leaders and make speeches all the time, you don't see/hear them speaking like that. It's just retarded to leave a bad impression of yourself while you leave the school.

OK I'M SUPER HUNGRY END OF MY THINKING.
